Booker may have shot 1-for-3 in the exhibition game and finished with just 3 points, but he helped his team advance the ball and played excellent defense.

He has maintained the same level of energy in the showcase matches as he did during Team USA’s historic 2020 Olympic gold medal run, when he was one of the top on-ball defenders.

After a nail-biting 98-92 win over Australia, Devin Booker admonished Team USA to work on their weaknesses. The United States of America had a different appearance in their prior exhibition game against Australia, but they showed signs of dominance in today’s 105-79 victory over Serbia.

Team USA’s initial 15-point lead in the fourth quarter was reduced to a just six points with 5 minutes and five minutes to go in the game. U.S. dominance in their showcase program continues with a narrow victory, despite a spirited final stretch.

The 86-72 victory over Canada was a complete departure from their performance here.

Following the game, Devin Booker emphasized the victory as a pressing issue to assess and address the team’s weaknesses, according to Joe Vardon of The Athletic.

In his statement, Booker acknowledged that time was not on their side. “We have to clean things up quickly, and playing like we did in the second half today … we will not win a gold medal.”The squad hasn’t been sensational recently, but when they’re on, they show signs of becoming very dominant on the basketball floor.

Changes to the team’s chemistry will be critical in the next days due to the abundance of offensive studs and versatile players on the roster.

Some NBA players will need to be able to put in more time away from their regular duties if they want to win the championship.
